How do I add Knowledge Base articles?

Adding to the Knowledge Base

The knowledge base can be used to add frequently asked questions to avoid tickets being created.

To add an article to the knowledge base the knowledge base must be enable and you will need to have a knowledge base group.

See Enable Knowledge Base for enabling the knowledge base and Adding Knowledge Base Group for details on adding a Knowledge Base group.

Adding an article

  1. Log into your admin e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/acornaid/admin/
  2. Click on the Menu icon in the top right hand corner of the screen
  3. Go to Knowledge Base > Add Article
  4. Enter an article title, select a group and enter the knowledge base article.
  5. Click Submit to save.

Your knowledge base article will now appear in your user knowledge base.
